El neoyorkino veinteañero Ariel Tejada, es el responsable de que algunas de las celebrities más conocidas del momento tengan tantos likes al lucir de una manera tan peculiar su maquillaje.

"He pasado de 0 a 100 muy rápido. Entendí que de la manera en la que me hablaba y me veía a mí mismo era la manera en la que me verían los demás." 

Su primer cliente de alto perfil fue Lilly Ghalichi, pero también ha maquillado a famosas como Kendall Jenner, Naya Rivera o Kris Jenner.

Kylie Jenner, encontró a Ariel T. por medio de Instagram (@makeupbyariel) y no pudo resistirse a mandarle un mensaje directo que decía así:

"La próxima vez que estés en la ciudad hay que trabajar juntos." 

Ariel mintió en tener compromiso para ir a Los Ángeles y conocerla. A Kylie le encantó su maquillaje y le dijo: "¿Me puedo quedar contigo?", y por supuesto, Ariel respondió un sí. "Básicamente hago todo, pero a ella le gusta delinear sus propios labios."

Ariel lied about having a commitment to go to LA and meet her. Kylie loved her make-up and said: "Can I stay with you?" And of course, Ariel answered yes. "Basically I do everything, but she likes to outline her own lips."

Base de maquillaje impecable. Aquí los trucos empiezan con los productos para la piel. Hay que usar una hidratante emoliente.

Uno de los pasos más importantes es la crema de ojos. Nadie quiere que su corrector se quede en las líneas finas de la parte de la ojera. Su recomendación es: Tatcha Revitalizing Eye cream.

Y por la noche, una hidratante espesa para el contorno del ojo.

Resaltado y contorno. Para el corrector usaremos 1 ó 2 sombras por debajo del tono de nuestra piel, y lo colocaremos en el centro del rostro.

Para el contorno, utilizaremos 1 ó 2 sombras por encima del tono de nuestra piel.

Bases de maquillaje de Tom Ford.

1. Los puntos altos de las mejillas.

2. En el puente de la nariz.

3. Centro de la barbilla.

Flawless foundation application. Here tricks begin with the products for the skin. Use an emollient moisturizer.
Ariel recommends: Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer.

One of the most important steps is eye cream. You never want your concealer to settle intothe fine lines. His recommendation is: Tatcha Revitalizing Eye cream.
And at night, a thick moisturizer for the eye contour.

Highlight and conuntouring. For the concealer we'll use 1 or 2 shadows lighter than the tone of our skin, and we will place it in the center of the face.
For the contour, we'll use 1 or 2 shades darker than our skin tone,
Make-up foundation by Tom Ford.

To give a glowy and fresh touch to our skin, we will use either a liquid or a cream highlighter underneath the settling powders. (Above the foundation but before setting it). BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Opal.
We will apply them in:

1. High points of the cheeks.
2. On the nose's bridge.
3. Center of the chin.
4. Cupid bow.

Sombra de ojos.

Para darle una forma almendrada oscureceremos las esquinas del ojo, y para darle una forma redondeada difuminaremos la sombra alrededor de la cuenca del ojo con sombras marrones o de colores cálidos. 

Para Ariel T. las pestañas son una parte fundamental en el maquillaje. Sus favoritas son  de Lilly Lashes, se llaman Paris, y recomienda echar máscara de pestañas encima de estas. 

Perfilaremos ligeramente un poco en el labio y lo rellenaremos con el mismo delineador para que le de una mayor duración al pinta labios que aplicaremos después.
