FASHION WEEKS 2017

Abrimos los ojos y despertamos. Ya se acaban todas las Fashion Weeks. Ese sueño que todo el mundo espera cada año. Después de mucha emoción, sorpresas, desfiles y diseños extravagantes, originales y delicados, volvemos a la vida real. A la rutina. 

Desde la New York Fashion Week, donde vimos a las tops del momento desfilar por las grandes pasarelas, con reconocidas marcas como lo son Jeremy Scott o Addition Elle donde pudimos contemplar a Gigi Hadid y Ashley Graham respectivamente. 

Seguida de esta, llega la Mercedes Benz Fashion Week de Madrid. Como experiencia propia, he de decir que los desfiles de Ana Locking y Ailanto fueron espectaculares. Tanto en diseños como en creatividad. 

Ailanto llenó la pasarela de grandes espejos ovalados, con sus diseños representó el día y la noche basándose en los colores cálidos y vivos al comienzo de la pasarela y colores fríos y apagados al final de la misma para hacer referencia a la noche.

La colección se inspiró principalmente en los cuadros-jardín que Claude Monet pintó en su casa de Giverny. 

Los hermanos Ailanto (Iñaki y Aitor Muñoz), hicieron del estilo actual un estilo más romántico. 

Luces apagadas. Toda la sala en silencio. Suena el discurso final de El Dictador de Charles Chaplin, seguido del famoso ‘I have a dream’ de Martin Luther King y para no ser menos, a todo esto le acompaña una gran escultura de Donald Trump al principio de la pasarela. Ana Locking quiso representar -y lo consiguió- la capacidad de todos y cada uno de los individuos de esta sociedad de defender sus ideas. 

La llegada de la Milán Fashion Week es ese momento de la mañana en el que sabes que tienes que despertar pero tan solo quieres 5 minutos más para seguir disfrutando del sueño que estabas teniendo. Esta Fashion Week cierra el mes de septiembre. 

Prada, Moschino, Tods, Blumarine o Versace son algunas de las marcas que han desfilado durante esta semana para asombrarnos con sus diseños y sus inesperadas apariciones en la pasarela. Sin duda el desfile que más ha dado que hablar ha sido el de Versace. 

Tras los 20 años de la muerte de Giani Versace, su  hermana Donatella ha querido recordarle en la pasarela de esta nueva colección llena de diseños de Giani desde 1991, cerrando el desfile con las fantasías de los 90, que no eran ni más ni menos que: Claudia Schiffer, Carla Bruni, Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen y Cindy Crawford. 

We open our eyes and we wake up. Every single Fashion Week has already finished. That dream that the whole world waits for every year. After much excitement, surprises, parades and extravagant, and delicate designs, we return to real life, to the routine.

Since the New York Fashion Week, where we could see the tops of the moment to parade with recognised brands as Jeremy Scott or Addition Elle with models such as Gigi Hadid or Ashley Graham respectively that gave a magic touch to the runway.

Followed by this, it took place the Mercedes Benz Fashion week of Madrid. As a personal experience, I must say that Ana Locking’s and Ailanto’s parades were spectacular. Both in designs and creativity.

Ailanto fulled the runway with oval mirrors. He represented day and night with his desings, the beggining of the runway was based on warm and poweful colors and at the end of it, the colors were cold and muted. His collection was based on the paintings that Claude Monet painted in his Giverny’s house. The ailanto bothers, (Iñaki and Aitor Muñoz) did the actual romantic style.

Lights off. The whole room in silence and Charles Chaplin’s speech ‘The Dictator’, 

followed by Martin Luther King’s one, ‘I have a dream’ so as not to be less, all this, was accompanied by a huge sculpture of Donald Trump’s face with cracks on it at the beginning of the runway which with Ana Locking wanted to represent -and she was able to- the capacity of every single human of this society to defend their ideas. 

The arrival of Milan’s Fashion Week is like that moment in the morning that you know  you must wake up but you only want 5 more minutes to continue enjoying the dream that you were having. This Fashion Week closes September.

Prada, Moschino, Tods, Bluemarine or Versace are some of the brands that have paraded this week to surprise us with their magnificent designs and unexpected appearances on the runway. Undoubtedly the parade that is talked about the most is Versace’s one.  

20 years ahead of the death of Giani Versace, they wanted to remember his designs of 1991 in the runway of this new collection. The show was closed with the fantasies of the 90s, wich were the talented Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Carla Bruni and Cindy Crawford.
